Physical and chemical properties:

Appearance: yellow to brown liquid

Purity %: ≥97.0

Solubility: soluble in organic solvents such as toluene, ethanol, ether, acetone, etc., soluble in water, and hydrolyzed and condensed to produce an oily liquid after being placed.

Application: 

1) Foundry industry

Adding KH-610 to furan resin can strengthen furan resin, increase the adhesion between resin and sand, and thus improve the strength of resin sand. KP-550 is added to furan resin to improve the strength of the resin for about 15 days, while KH-602 is added to the furan resin to improve the strength of the resin for about 3 months, so as to maintain the strength of the furan resin Prolonged. KH-610 has a longer holding time.

RTV greenhouse curing silicone and mixed silane crosslinking sealant

It can improve the adhesion of single and two-component silicone sealants to various substrates including glass, aluminum and concrete. Can enhance adhesion. Without affecting the elongation. The added amount is 0.5-1.0% of the filler.

2) Polysulfide sealant:

When adding single and two-component polysulfide sealants, KH-610 silane coupling agent provides good adhesion to the substrate, including glass, aluminum and steel. The typical dosage of KH-610 silane coupling agent is 0.5-1.0% by weight of sealant. It can be well dispersed in the sealant, which can achieve the internal destruction of the resin rather than the destruction of the interface adhesive layer between the sealant and the substrate.

3) Plastic melt sealant

Using KH-610 to replace the polyamide adhesion promoter in the plastic solution sealant can improve the adhesion to the metal substrate and increase the strength. The silane modified ones have better overall system performance than those with polyamide systems. And the modification is blocked until the system is light in color, and no bubbles will be generated after curing.
