Product description: This product has alkoxy and alkyl functional groups, which can enhance the limit oxygen index value of low-smoke halogen-free wires, and help to disperse inorganic fillers such as aluminum hydroxide/magnesium hydroxide to resins and plastics. And organic polymers such as rubber. It can also convert hydrophilic inorganic powders, fillers or matrices into hydrophobicity. The reaction of the alkoxy functional group is similar to its reaction with the silane coupling agent, and can form a more stable bond with the inorganic filler or the surface. The function of the alkyl group is to act as a compatibilizer with the organic polymer and a hydrophobic agent, thereby reducing water absorption. At the same time, the additive has a low viscosity and is easy to use.
Method of use: The powder is processed, usually dry or wet. Dry process: It is a method of high-speed stirring by a mixer to homogenize and disperse the silane stock solution in the powder. The amount of silane is 0.5-2% of the mass of the powder. The powder is stirred with a stirrer. The silane is dropped or sprayed. After uniformly mixing for 30 minutes, the powder is dried at 100°C for 1 hour. Wet processing: It is a method of immersing powder in dilute silane solution. Add silane to water or ethanol aqueous solution with pH 4 and stir for 30 minutes, then add the powder to the silane aqueous solution, stir, filter, dry and grind. Since this product contains methanol, and methanol will be generated during the mixing process at high temperature, a ventilation system should be prepared and the exhaust gas should be properly handled.
Operational precautions: This product contains residual methanol and is flammable. Once wet, the product will hydrolyze and produce methanol. Therefore, take appropriate measures to prevent the concentration of harmful substances in the methanol tail gas from accumulating in the working environment.
Storage and packaging:
The product is sealed, pay attention to the air humidity and prevent gelation. The product is stored in a sealed container at or below 25°C, with a validity period of at least 12 months.
This product is divided into 5 kg barrels and 25 kg barrels. Other packaging specifications need to be explained in advance.
