Product characteristics and uses: The
silane coupling agents KH-516 and KH-526 belong to a new type of double silane, that is, there are two silane structures in the same molecular structure. They have 6 alkoxy groups per molecule, which is double that of ordinary silane coupling agents. Therefore, KH-516 and KH-526 can form a higher cross-linking density on the surface of inorganic materials; at the same time, the silanol formed after hydrolysis of this product is more acidic than the silanol formed by ordinary silane coupling agents, so It can form a stronger covalent bond with the hydroxyl group on the surface of metal and inorganic materials, and is not easy to hydrolyze.
Specific uses of silane coupling agents KH-516 and KH-526 include:
1. Environment-friendly surface treatment liquid without phosphorus and heavy metals, which can replace the traditional phosphating and passivation process.
2. The cross-linking agent in the adhesive and sealant provides moisture curing function and improves the adhesion to the substrate.
